2026 Friends Members’ Meetings

These meetings are open to all members. They are held in Chorley Town Hall and start at 6.30pm. The dates for 2026 are:

2026 Friends Voluntary Work in the Park

We will be doing voluntary work in the Park on the following Saturday mornings from 9.30am. We meet in the Courtyard by the cafe unless notified otherwise. Members of the public are welcome to attend and try out volunteering with us before deciding whether they wish to become members. The dates for 2026 are:

January: 17^th, 31^st

February: 14^th, 28^th

March: 14^th, 28^th

April: 11^th, 25^th

May: 9^th, 23^rd

June: 6^th, 20^th

July: 4^th, 18th

August: 15^th, 29^th

September: 12^th, 26^th

October: 10^th, 24^th

November: 7^th, 21^st

December: 5^th, 19^th

The dates may be amended or added to as or when circumstances change. Our members are free to organise amongst themselves mid-week meet-ups to work in the Park. Additional Saturday working parties are likely to be held for balsam basing from late June to early August. Over the summer months evening bat walk and talk gatherings, which are also open to non-members, are arranged. In the autumn there will be a quiz night.

In addition, look out for our stall at the Chorley Flower Show and at other major Park events.
