As the back-end of Storm Gertrude blew through Chorley on the 30th January we headed out on one of our Litter Picks.
Some of our group worked their way through Dog Trap Wood clearing it of litter. It was a real mess this morning and thanks to us it looks a lot better. Have a look when you next go in the park, it looks amazing.
Also great headway was made by the rest of the group in clearing beech saplings and making nature piles in one of the areas where woodland wild flowers and oaks are to be planted.
Overall a good morning’s work.
